
Paul is an international sports broadcaster specialising in studio presenting, on-location reporting and live commentary.
In 2026 he was selected by FIFA to be one of their lead commentators at the men's World Cup. Based in Vancouver his commentary was utilised by broadcasters around the world including both the BBC and ITV in the UK, BeIN Sports in the middle-east, TSN in Canada and SBS in Australia.
On a Saturday afternoon Paul can be heard reporting in to BBC Radio 5 Live’s legendary Sports Report.
He’s also a regular commentator on the EFL Championship for SkySports+, DAZN’s coverage on Italy’s Serie A and over the years has been heard on various networks thanks to his frequent work on the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
He’s also been booked by several world feeds to provide commentary for UEFA club and international competitions, the EFL, WSL, CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers and the Turkish Super Lig.
Paul’s other passion is Tennis and in 2025 he joined BBC Radio 5Live’s commentary team at Wimbledon and still regularly covers the other 3 Grand Slams for Eurosport each year.
Equally as comfortable in a TV and Radio studio, he can be seen presenting BBC TV sports news to millions of viewers around the world and often read the sports news on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball.
Between 2015 and 2019 Paul was based in Istanbul as a Presenter and Correspondent for TRT World.
In this role he travelled all over the world covering major sporting events; from the 2018 World Cup in Russia to the Davis Cup Final in France.
He has interviewed the likes of Thomas Bach, Sepp Blatter, Eddie Howe, Novak Djokovic, Boris Becker and Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
