Paul is an international sports broadcaster specialising in studio presenting, on-location reporting and live commentary.

​

He can currently be seen presenting the TV sports news to millions of viewers around the world on BBC News. He's also regularly heard reading the sports bulletins on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball and The Today Programme on Radio 4.

​

His Saturday afternoons are often spent at football grounds reporting in to BBC Radio 5Live's legendary Saturday afternoon sport show, or Final Score on BBC1.

​

He is one of the regular commentary voices on DAZN's coverage of the UEFA Women's Champions League and Liga F and regularly commentates on the EFL, the WSL, UEFA Europa League and World Cup qualifiers from both South America and Europe.

 

When Paul isn't out and about on a Saturday afternoon he reports on the EFL Highlights Show on ITV.

​

Paul's other passion is tennis and he commentates on both the WTA and ATP Tours - and on the Grand Slams for Eurosport.

 

Between 2015 and 2019 Paul was based in Istanbul as a Presenter and Correspondent for TRT World.

​

In this role he travelled all over the world covering major sporting events; from the 2018 World Cup in Russia to the Davis Cup Final in France.

 

He has interviewed the likes of Thomas Bach, Sepp Blatter, Eddie Howe, Novak Djokovic, Boris Becker and Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

​

Paul began his career in local radio on the south coast before freelancing for BBC Radio 5 Live, Radio 1, Radio 2, The Football League Show on BBC1 and Eurosport.

​

He moved overseas in 2012, originally living and working in Moscow where he covered the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the Sochi Winter Olympics.

 

Paul returned to London in 2019.
